Celebrate the birthday of legendary rocker Jimi Hendrix on Friday, November 27th, with a tribute performance of his music, at Galapagos Artspace in Brooklyn’s Dumbo. The evening features the avant-garde classical and blues vocal and piano stylings of New Zealand’s Leila Adu and the big band MuthaWit Orchestra. They are performing a two-fer of original music plus compositions from the Jimi Hendrix songbook, all enhanced by digital video projections.
